Prospective Candidates
The Linbury Prize is open normally to final year students and graduates from 2018 or 2019 from Theatre Design degree or postgraduate courses recognised on the website of the Society of British Theatre Designers (www.theatredesign.org.uk ) or by the Performance Design Education Collective.
The Linbury Prize in 2019 also welcomes individual applicants who have studied in courses that deliver modules based in Performance Design.
The Linbury Prize 2019 will be open for submissions from applicants from Wednesday 1st May 2019, and the deadline for applications is 12 noon on Monday 1st July 2019.

Portfolio Advice Days for Candidates
Ahead of the application window opening, we will be holding Portfolio Advice Days in several locations across the UK. These events are a chance for prospective candidates to meet professionals from the Theatre industry, a combination of designers and Production Managers.
The Portfolio Advice Days are to give you a sense of how your work is looking. Please don't feel that you must have complete work/portfolios. It can be really useful to get fresh eyes on how your work is perceived, as well as learning to talk effectively about your work.
Portfolio Advice Days will be held at the locations below. Places at each event will be limited; to book your slot, or for any queries about these days, please email the relevant contact.
